Dr. Charles Best Secondary School

A bit of trivia, Dr. Charles Best secondary school is named for a Canadian physician Dr. Charles Best, one of the researchers responsible for the discovery of insulin as a treatment for diabetes. The school originally opened 1971. In 2021 a major addition to the school was completed consisting of six classroom, teacher workroom, washrooms, and LED lighting to complement the natural lighting in the building.
